Job Title: Applications Engineer
Location: Illinois
Salary: $100k – $120k

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operation, demonstration, and training on AM machinery.
- Programming and process development of AM and subtractive processes (milling and turning).
- Conduct feasibility and time studies for customer parts.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Communicate frequently with internal technical staff, external customers, and external suppliers.
- Support customers in machine preparation, operation, and applications, both remotely and at customer sites.
- Demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to convey results to customers and management.
- Support at exhibitions and conferences.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills including a positive approach, accountability, sense of humility, and responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university minimum, Master’s Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience with programming and operation of additive machinery (DED or L-PBF).
- Proven organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong focus on collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish win-win situations.
- Customer-centric mindset and effective communication verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences.
- Comfortable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer operation including MS Office, CAD, CAM, and simulation and analysis tools.
- “US Person” under ITAR regulations to enable work on export-controlled projects.
