Role Description:
This is a full-time remote position for an Additive Manufacturing Powder Sales Manager within the 3D printing company. The individual in this role will drive sales growth in new and existing markets, identify business opportunities, and achieve sales and profitability targets. Responsibilities also include building and maintaining customer relationships, collaborating across departments and with partners, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the AM powder industry.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or marketing in advanced materials or additive manufacturing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AM powder systems and powder metallurgy principles.
- Experience with high-value specialty alloy powders and their applications in defense, space, biomedical, and energy industries.
- A proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals, developing new business, and building customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
