A leading supplier of plastic and foam solutions is hiring a Financial Analyst to join in with the company’s strong ethos centered around ethicality.
In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning and controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting the Senior Financial Analyst in analyzing financial and operational data.
You will:
- Assist with the creation of alternatives and recommendations for process improvement and increased profitability.
- Develop, document, and present benchmarking data.
- Provide support and training to the accounting/finance team as needed.
- Be hands-on with statistical analysis and financial software applications.
Responsibility:
- Support the Senior Financial Analyst by being a trusted financial advisor for the management and the point of contact for corporate control.
- Involved in strategic FI/CO projects with the global team.
- Consolidate, create, and update report templates.
- Analyze financial data and operative key figures, considering company goals, financial standing, and overall business performance.
- Improve business performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and implementing countermeasures with other departments and the management team.
- Support improvement of internal Controlling and Finance processes and automation of processes to align with corporate requirements.
- Assist with updating standard cost calculations and product calculations for projects.
- Track and determine sales, margins, and profitability in close coordination with the Senior Financial Analyst and Sales Excellence team.
- Assist Senior Financial Analyst with the preparation and management of forecast, budget, and strategic planning data, and templates, ensuring associated timelines are met.
- Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting.
- Minimum of two years of related accounting/finance experience.
- Experience in global manufacturing/procurement preferred.
- Minimum two years of SAP-related experience or equivalent ERP experience.
- Ability to travel in the US or internationally as required.
