Job Summary:
The role involves managing, maintaining, and developing relationships with both existing and new customers and distributors, with a primary focus on non-UK/EU markets. A culture of continuous improvement is central to the role, requiring an understanding of customer needs, market demand, and identifying opportunities for growth in the global market. Additionally, this position involves overseeing and supporting the Sales Account Manager for UK/USA markets.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role involves close collaboration with the Customer Service Administration team and other colleagues within the wider organisation. The position is predominantly office-based, though travel will be required to Germany, international customers, and trade exhibitions.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide commercial support to global distributors and customers via phone, email, seminars, exhibitions, and customer visits.

Manage distributor relationships while maintaining some direct customer communication.

Develop and implement a global brand strategy in collaboration with senior management.

Identify and engage new customers and distributors worldwide, focusing on key markets.

Work closely with the sales administration team.

Collaborate with the marketing team to drive digital marketing, LinkedIn outreach, newsletters, SEO strategies, and more.

Use customer data for reporting, sales forecasting, and project analysis.

Conduct market analysis, including market share, potential opportunities, competitor activity, and pricing trends.

Organise and execute sales meetings and performance reviews.

Attend and participate in international trade shows and exhibitions.

Negotiate pricing agreements.

Support the implementation of an online webshop.

Oversee price list management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Several years of B2B sales experience (essential), preferably in volume sales.

Experience managing multiple international distributors.

Experience in laboratory equipment or a scientific environment (desirable).

Full, clean driving license (essential).

Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP/CRM systems.

Strong negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently while also leading a team.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
