Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Illinois
Salary: $130k – $140k + commission
Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing six-figure deals in the manufacturing and IoT space? Do you have a deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, cloud solutions, and the latest technology trends? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
As the Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind ambitious expansion plans, developing and executing comprehensive business strategies, spearheading marketing activities, and managing complex sales cycles from lead generation to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute business strategies to drive growth.
- Marketing Leadership: Conduct marketing activities, analyze current positions and trends, and create relevant materials.
- Sales Execution: Drive large, complex deals from lead generation to closing, navigating procurement processes.
- Account Management: Coordinate account strategies with channel partners to win major deals.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across your portfolio.
- Software Demonstration: Demonstrate software expertise to end users.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build relationships with key stakeholders and close deals at the C-suite level.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external teams including sales, marketing, engineering, and more.
Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive experience in manufacturing and IoT, with a proven ability to develop strategies and lead projects.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to sell SaaS/PaaS and manufacturing solutions, consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Passionate about technology and knowledgeable in areas like IoT, cloud, AI, and machine learning.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English (knowledge of Japanese or German is a plus).
- Sales Acumen: Ability to navigate complex organizations, penetrate new accounts, and strategically sell six-figure transactions.
