Job Title: Maintenance/Automation Technician
Location: Connecticut
Salary: $85k – $100k
A company specializing in the supply of ultra-small precision metal-components is hiring an Automation Technician to join it’s team. In this role you will serve as a repair resource to production, and take responsibility for the repair and maintenance of automation related machinery as well as all other production and facility repair tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities:
The Technician will be responsible for the maintaining of custom electro — mechanical systems. Critical responsibilities include PLC programming, application of servo systems, robotic application and programming, electrical panel layout and creation and application of vision systems. To be successful, technicians should be willing to learn and collaborate with other team members.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with maintenance team to repair and maintain machinery.
Required Skills/Abilities :
- PLC Diagnostics.
- HMI Diagnostics.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Electrical Panel layout
- Vision System Repair.
- Repair of Servo Systems.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electrician license or High School Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
