Job Title: Applications Engineer
Location: KY, USA (with up to 50% travel)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

Position Overview:
The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer to join its team based in Hebron, KY. This role is a key customer-facing position, providing technical expertise in CNC machining applications, process development, and implementation support. The position requires up to 50% travel across North America to support installations, training, and technical demonstrations.
This is an on-site role and can not be remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement machining processes tailored to customer applications.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including process development, cycle time studies, and machine tool demonstrations.
- Support machine setup, installation, and optimization at customer sites.
- Work closely with the sales team to deliver customized technical solutions.
- Conduct on-site training and technical guidance for customers and service staff.
- Create technical documentation such as tooling lists, setup sheets, and process plans.
- Represent the company at industry events, open houses, and trade shows.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CNC machining, applications engineering, or a related role.
- Proficiency with CNC controls
- Experience with high-precision, multi-axis machining (5-axis preferred).
- Siemens NX experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical drawing interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
